A single ideal day on the coast, planned the way we would for ourselves

The hour-by-hour outline of a resort day we would craft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Adapt as you wish.

A single ideal day on the coast, planned the way we would for ourselves

07:00 · Early swim

The pool sits empty and towel service has not begun. A coffee cart waits by the entrance with single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no queue. This half hour is the finest of the day.

08:30 · Breakfast on the terrace

Eggs cooked to order, pastries from the kitchen oven, a small plate of seasonal fruit. We skip breakfast buffets. We favour plates brought by waiters who have looked after the same families for ten years.

10:00 · Hammam or shoreline

Either choice works. The spa hammam feels bright and hushed in the morning. The sea is calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; a few manage both.

13:30 · An unhurried lunch

Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you did not expect to want. No phones, no hurry. This is the meal that stays with you.

18:00 · Golden-hour deck

Aperitif on the upper deck. By the second day the bar staff will know your name. The signature negroni rests on a vermouth we produce on-site; it is the most unexpected drink on the property.

21:00 · The tasting menu

Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. Years of work sit behind this evening. We trust it rewards the journey.

23:30 · A brief hour at the table

Or a slow walk back to the suite. Either path: tomorrow opens at 07:00 with a swim, and that rhythm is the whole point.
